  Learn all you need to know about the Transfer Admission Guarantee!

  The following six UC campuses offer the Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) program for California community college students who meet specific requirements: Davis, Irvine, Merced, Riverside, Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz.

  Prospective applicants will learn about the following topics:

  • Overview on campus-specific criteria
  • Deadlines
  • Steps to complete the TAG application
  • Frequently Asked Questions

   

  Attend this workshop if you want to take advantage of the guaranteed admission to a UC campus!

California State University (CSU)

• CSU APPLICATION

  Wondering how to apply to Cal States? Confused about the Application?
  We are here to help!

  This workshop is geared for students applying for Spring 25 or Fall 25, but all students are welcome to attend. By attending a Transfer Center Workshop, students will learn about applying to the California State University (CSU) system. The CSU is comprised of 23 unique campuses.

  The workshop will provide information on the following areas:

  • Overview on the application website-CSU Apply

  • CSU Transfer Checklist

  • Tips for success

  • Frequently Asked Questions

  Please register using the email address connected to your Zoom account. Please allow 1-2 business days for workshop registrations to be processed. If you do not receive an email with the Zoom meeting link, please contact the Transfer Center at transfercenter@occ.cccd.edu.

• CSU Open Lab - Virtual

  OCC Transfer Center's Application Assistance Lab sessions are designed to help answer last-minute questions on your CSU Fall 2025 Application(s).
  
  To attend a CSU Virtual Assistance Lab:
  1. You must have started your CSU application(s).
  2. Be prepared with specific questions as we are limited with our resources.
  
  Due to limited resources and "protecting student privacy/ confidentiality" concerns, the Transfer Center will not be able to review student's entire application.
  
  Be sure to register using the email that is connected to your Zoom account. Zoom meeting links will be sent 1-2 days prior to workshops. It is your responsibility to notify the Transfer Center if you do not receive the Zoom meeting link.
  
  Please note, that students are welcome to drop-in and leave at their leisure (Late Policy will not apply for Open Lab), however we will not admit students 10 minutes prior to ending time.
