Joe Lawrence, a graduate from CSU Northridge, has accompanied dance playing for California Institute of the Arts, Los Angeles Pierce College, Pasadena Dance Theatre and the Los Angeles Ballet Academy to name a few. His styles range from playing ballet to modern to jazz to tap. Besides accompanying for dance, he is also a solo pianist, rehearsal pianist for operas and musicals, vocal and instrumental accompanist and coach, arranger and composer for film scores and choral works, as well as private piano teacher.
