Math Skills Courses

MATH SKILLS NON-CREDIT CLASSES

Explore our free non-credit math skills classes, designed to review selected prerequisite topics crucial for success in various courses. These classes, available year-round, are tailored by 六合彩全年图库 Math faculty to aid registered students in strengthening their mathematical foundations.

Each module includes instructional videos and accompanying worksheets. Students have the flexibility to choose the topics they wish to review based on their planned courses.

Our current Math Skills Non-credit Courses are:

  • Math Skills for Liberal Arts (Math 100) and Statistics (Math 160)
    The Math Skills topics will include solving linear equations, performing operations with real numbers, and converting between percentages, fractions, and decimals.
  • Math Skills for College Algebra (Math 115)
    The Math Skills topics will include factoring, solving equations, manipulating rational expressions, laws of exponents, and logarithms.
  • Math Skills for Trigonometry (Math 120)
    The Math Skills topics will include factoring, solving equations, manipulating rational expressions, laws of exponents, and graphing.
  • Math Skills for Business Calculus (Math 140)
    The Math Skills refresher topics will include factoring, solving equations, manipulating expressions, laws of exponents, and graphing.
  • Math Skills for Pre-Calculus (Math 170)
    The Math Skills topics will include factoring, solving equations, manipulating rational expressions, laws of exponents, logarithms, evaluating trigonometric expressions, and solving trigonometric equations.
  • Math Skills for Calculus (Math 180)
    The Math Skills topics will include algebra skills such as factoring, solving equations, manipulating rational expressions, laws of exponents, and logarithms. These skills also include trigonometric skills such as right triangle trigonometry, graphing trigonometric functions, evaluating trigonometric equations, trigonometric identities and equations, and inverse trigonometric functions.

We encourage students to explore the modules aligned with the courses they are currently taking, ensuring readiness and confidence in their mathematical abilities.
