Athletics Coaching

Even with the most talented athletes, games can be won or lost based on the skills of a coach.  A successful coach not only motivates its athletes, they also know how to safely train and prepare them for practices and competitions. Through OCC's Career Advantage program, you will attain knowledge in athletics psychology and coaching theory, and gain the skills needed to succeed through practical application. Athletics Coaching

Prepares students to be able to actively serve as an assistant or head coach through the application of what is learned in exercise and athletic psychology, coaching theory, and the coaching practicum where theory-based methods are observed and practiced in supervised observations.
