Bruch, behind the scenes

Long before the stage lights go up and the gowns and tuxedos are put on, OCC’s musicians are hard at work preparing the music they bring to our enthusiastic audiences! Take a sneak peek as Dr. Ricardo Soto, conductor of the OCC Symphony, rehearses with guest violinist Wes Precourt and pianist Beth Syverson (playing the part of the orchestra!) on Max Bruch’s famous Violin Concerto:

You can hear the finished product on Saturday, March 17, at 8:00 p.m. in the Robert B. Moore Theatre! Tickets are only $10, and the program also includes the monumental and exhilarating Symphony No. 1 of Johannes Brahms.
