2025 Winter Refreshers
Join us in the OCC Math Center to brush up on your math skills right before your Spring 2025 classes begin!
This January, from January 6 to January 30, the OCC Math Center proudly presents Winter 2025 Math Refreshers. This is a lab-based Math Refresher aimed to prepare students for their upcoming math course in the Spring 2025 semester.
The Math Refreshers:
- 16 sessions, 2.5 hours per session
- Mon-Thurs: 11:30 -2 PM, January 6 to January 30
- Instructor: Kira Kuznetsov
- Lab-based format with tutoring support
- Workshops on selected topics
- Attending all sessions is strongly recommended
- All meetings will be in the Math Center in MBCC 218
- If you have a laptop, please bring it to all sessions.
- All resources are completely free for OCC students
- This is intended for students registered in Spring 2025 for
- Math 115: College Algebra
- Math 120: Trigonometry
- Math 140: Business Calculus
- Math 170: Pre-Calculus
- Math 180+: Calculus 1 and above

- Step 1: Please complete the following . You will be contacted by the Math Center staff with more information about the refreshers.
- Step 2: Logon to MyCoast and add the desired Math Skills course using one of the CRN listed below.

- CRN 45331 - Refresher for Trigonometry (Math 120) - Algebra Review
- CRN 45332 - Refresher for Business Calculus (Math 140) - Algebra Review
- CRN 45333 - Refresher for Pre-Calculus (Math 170) - Algebra and Trigonometry Review
- CRN 45334 - Refresher for Calculus and above (Math 180+) - Algebra and Trigonometry Review
